The Boat Locks of Muiden
Holland, of course, has lots of water. Here I watched a boat come through the locks at Muiden, which was very interesting if you have never seen this.
People were waiting patiently to cross the road bridge.
You can see the boats passing through.
Coming out on the side of the sea. A little tight squeeze!

There is so much beautiful historical architecture in Holland. This was late in the day and not great light, but still amazing to see nevertheless!

Lighthouse in Texel, Holland
This lighthouse was built in 1863 to help ships maneuver around the northern islands of Holland. It is now a wonderful sight and more of a beacon for ships rather than used for guidance.

Beautiful Day at the Beach in Holland
I think it is obvious that I like the beach....warm beaches, that is. But what about in Holland near the cold North Sea? Yes! What a beautiful day I had at the beach in Scheveningen!
